2.What we never ask for
- Your real name
- Your photo
- An ID document
- Your phone number
- Access to your contacts
3.What we keep
- Your account: your email address or Google account, and your password (encrypted, never readable).
- What you give at sign-up: birth year, gender, country, language.
- Your nickname and avatar color.
- What you write: posts, replies, shares, private journal, messages to support.
- Your moods: the emotion, topics and time. For mood tracking, we don't keep the text.
- Your actions: reactions, follows, blocks, reports, saved posts.
- Technical data: sign-in logs, device type, notification token.
4.Why
- To run Nolii: your account, the feed, replies, notifications.
- To show your mood over 7 or 28 days and the Alter ego tab.
- To adapt texts that talk about you (your gender) and show you the right helpline numbers (your country).
- To protect the community: text checks, moderation, alerts when someone is struggling, spam prevention.
- To answer your messages to support.
- To produce grouped, anonymous figures (never a person, never a text; a group of fewer than 5 people shows as “fewer than 5”).
5.Legal basis
- The contract: to provide the service you asked for.
- Your explicit consent: for your moods, which are sensitive data. You give it at sign-up and can withdraw it by deleting your account.
- Our legitimate interest: for safety and preventing abuse.
- Our legal obligations: when the law requires it.

7.Our service providers
We work with a few technical providers, who process your data only on our behalf:
- Database and account hosting (Supabase).
- Sending code emails (Resend).
- Sign in with Google (Google), if you choose it.
- Automatic text checks (Anthropic, Claude model): the text is analyzed to detect forbidden content or distress, without your email or identity.
- Phone notifications (Expo and Firebase).
- Website hosting (Cloudflare).
We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
8.Transfers outside your country
Nolii is published by a US company, and some providers may store data outside Côte d'Ivoire or the European Union, including in the United States. In that case, we protect these transfers with appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) and complete the required formalities with the ARTCI.

Connections are encrypted, data access is limited to what is strictly necessary, the team signs in with a 6-digit security code, and every team action is logged.
11.Your rights
At any time, you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, get a copy of it, object to a processing or withdraw your consent. Write to support@nolii.app from the address linked to your account; we reply within one month.
You can also file a complaint with the ARTCI (Côte d'Ivoire's telecommunications regulator) or, if you live in the European Union, with your country's data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
12.Minors
Nolii is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data about minors; if we find any, the account is deleted.
13.Cookies on this site
The nolii.app website uses no advertising cookies or tracking tools. It only remembers your language. If it ever measures its audience, it will be anonymously.
14.Changes
If this policy changes, we let you know in the app before the new version applies.
